In a nutshell

I am a computer scientist with a strong focus on information system security. My main interest and motivation lies in ensuring the security of IT systems and associated processes. The competences and skills that I acquired include network and distributed systems security, applied cryptography and system evaluation.

I successfully managed and implemented a multitude of R&D and consulting projects in the area of IT Security. This includes the development of innovative concepts and the prototype implementation of an intrusion detection system (IDS) for mobile ad hoc networks as well as PKI support for resource-constrained mobile devices.

I am a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a member of the German Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI)).
